Dance Fitness Classes

Dance has been a part of different cultures and physical fitness activities around the world for thousands of years. Suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, dance fitness has many physical and mental health benefits and is a surefire way to keep you smiling while working out!

All our dance fitness classes are suitable for people of all ages as well as all fitness and experience levels. It doesn’t matter if you’re just getting back to a fitness routine, are getting out of your comfort zone or have two left feet! Dance fitness is for everybody.

Our Dance Fitness Classes

At Re-Creation Malvern we offer a range of dance fitness classes in our beautiful Body Retreat Studio fitted with specialist dance flooring and an awesome sound system. Beginners are always very welcome, just let our friendly instructors know and they’ll look after you.

BAILA DANCE

Incorporating the energy and flavour of South America, BaiLa is a unique combination of Salsa, Reggaeton, Merengue, and Samba styles. With 10 basic steps and 4 styles this class suits absolute beginners and experts. Dance first, think later!

ZUMBA

Zumba takes the “work” out of workout. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba classes are often called exercise in disguise. Zumba is suitable for all fitness and experience levels.

SH’BAM (Virtual Class)

Sh’bam is a seriously addictive, guided dance workout set to a party playlist. This is a Les Mills program and is suitable for all fitness and experience levels. As a virtual class you can take part in both scheduled and on-demand Sh’bam classes at a time to suit you.

A towel and water bottle are essential.

No worries – just turn up 5 minutes early, let our friendly and experienced instructor know and they’ll look after you during the class.

Our classes are designed for all abilities and our nifty instructors are skilled at tailoring intensity and exercises to each individual.

We have a range of flexible and affordable membership options including paid up front, direct debit, casual and multi-visit passes. Click here for our prices.

Our gym is located on Glenferrie Road in Malvern, very close to Malvern Central. We offer ample parking and are within walking distance of Malvern and Armadale train stations and route 6 and 16 tram stops.
