Functional & Cardio Training

Functional fitness classes such as our FiT45 classes are an ideal workout solution for everyday people wanting to move more comfortably. Some of the benefits include increased mobility and reduced joint pain; improved strength, cardio fitness, tone, posture, and balance; fat loss; mental stimulation and reduced stress through release of endorphins.

Our functional training and cardio classes are hosted at the Function Centre at Re-Creation Malvern. It’s also a playground for our personal trainers. The space is fitted with all the trimmings including boxing equipment, fitballs, TRX, battle ropes, plyo boxes, speed ladders, and kettle bells and is available for use outside of class times.

FiT 45

Our extremely popular 45-minute fusion of functional training, high intensity interval training, and circuit training designed to build lean muscle, burn fat and increase your mobility and cardiovascular fitness.

A variant of FiT45 delivering similar benefits but emphasising High Intensity Resistance Training for greater strength and toning. A great mix of functional and compound exercises set to intervals

Les Mills

A 55-minute total body barbell workout for everyone from LesMills. Will tone and shape your entire body without adding bulky muscles. Burn calories, increase core strength and improve bone health.

FiGHT 45

Get visible results fast with non-contact boxing and mixed martial arts fitness training. Improve muscle tone and cardio fitness while de-stressing. Popular with men and women.

A towel and water bottle are essential.

No worries – just turn up 5 minutes early, let our friendly and experienced instructor know and they’ll help you get set up and will look after you during the class.

Our classes are designed for all abilities and our nifty instructors are skilled at tailoring intensity and exercises to each individual.

It depends on your goals, other training activities and fitness levels. Some take a class each day, others every second day or once or twice a week as part of a broader fitness regime.

Our gym is located on Glenferrie Road in Malvern, very close to Malvern Central. We offer ample parking and are walking distance from Malvern and Armadale train stations and route 6 and 16 tram stops.
